Bars and Restaurants
The Attico (part of the Javea hotel) – great setting, a huge amount of food and great choice – it’s a six-course where everyone gets 4 starters, a choice of main and a choice of desert Restaurante Hotel Jávea – HOTEL JÁVEA (hotel-javea.com)
Ca Maria in port
In the Port there is Azorin -for around €12/13 – Karen’s family loved this one – Restaurante Azorín-Javea – Home – Jávea – Menu, prices, restaurant reviews | Facebook – pretty sure you get a bottle of wine between two here.
restaurant Cande – for the same price Restaurante Cande – Home – Jávea – Menu, prices, restaurant reviews | Facebook – I also think they leave the wine for you here….better at Lunchtime as portions bit small
The Arenal area – there are loads of restaurants there – many are really good but no menu del dias – but its a great beach setting – you will get the main course for around €12/€15 in most
There is a nice square which has several cafe/bars for lunchtime…C. Rda. Colón, 03730 Xàbia, Alicante
our favourite is Cafe Placeta which is run by a young Spanish Couple.

Bus at 0940 and walk to Denia castle which has existed from Roman times. 3 Euros to get in. At the top, there is a bar and a museum.
The Railway Tavern is good for a warm welcome from Chrissie and her staff. The best cafeteria/restaurant we found is La Luna which is away from the tourist area and basic but the staff and food are excellent. The Boat from Denia to Javea is at 1600 (runs Fri, sat, Sun Wed).
Tuesday Gato de Gorges
Cycle to Gato de Gorges with the biggest number of bars per head of population. The town is famous for the many shops selling wicker products. The best bar is Ca Corder on the main square.
