Transport
From Hamburg airport the S-Bahn line S1 operates every 10-minute intervals and in only 25 minutes each way from Central Station to the Airport and back.
There are various tickets available to travel around Hamburg – a day ticket , a day ticket from 9am. A single ticket is 5 euro.
Accommodation
The IBIS hotels in Hamburg are very cheap and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The Europa Passage shopping centre is near the city centre and has over 120 shops.
The Hamburger-Miele has over 150 shops. It is 10 minute from central station and you get off at Hamburger Strasse which gives you direct entry.
Attractions
There is a free walking tour that lasts two hours which starts at 11 am in front of the Rathaus ( town hall). See the Robin and his tourguides site for details. At 2pm there is a tour of the Reeperbahn and the Beatles clubs meet at Hard Rock café.
